Focus: Design a sound proofing product out of the least amount of materials.
Lesson Learned:
– Small Screws work better than double sided tape for attaching the foam panels to the wood frame;
– Multiple ‘units’ can be chained together for covering larger areas;
– Using a curved frame allows for empty space behind ‘unit’ to hide wiring;
Scratch Post

Focus: Design a scratch post for a long-bodied cat that won’t topple over when in use.
Lessons Learned:
– Up-cycled materials like a bedpost and carpet cuts keep costs low;
– Re-use of cat furniture improved the top of the post for additional usage;
